Hey, I'm Emma!
I am an award winning photographer based in Dundee, Scotland and also Northamptonshire, England. Whilst I currently live in Dundee, I'm always in Northants shooting weddings or seeing family.
I have always loved photography after a year of debating whether to create Willow Tree.. I decided to go for it. What a journey it's been! In 2017 I won Best New Business at the Corby Awards and in 2018 I was nominated for East Midlands best Wedding Photographer at The English Wedding Awards! Since then and well covid, I have been busier than ever! I feel so extremely lucky to have such wonderful clients.
Nothing excites me more than meeting new people and capturing these precious moments for them. Theres something so wonderful about holding a newborn and capturing their fresh little features.. or being in the rush of a bridal morning and watching two people finally come together as one at their dream wedding. Photography has always been my passion and I believe this shows through my achievements and portfolio.
In my personal life there's nothing I love more than getting cosy, drinking tea and spending time with my own little family (our cat Barnaby and my wonderful partner Tyla). I'm always taking photos even when I'm not working.. my camera roll on my phone is sitting at 40,000! I also have a soft spot for Starbucks.. it fuels wedding season!
If you love a laugh, a cup of coffee and some good photos.. then I'm your photographer! I have a very relaxed and friendly approach with my imagery which the cool kids call 'candid'. This has become really popular as of late.
